I found some delicious looking pears at my local fruit & veggie shop and decided a salad was in order, and this beetroot pear salad was the result! It’s oh so tasty, easy to whip up and perfect for lunch or as a side at dinner. Yum!
It’s been a while since I shared a food review on the blog but after a recent Saturday lunch at Industry Beans I thought it was time to change that! It’s a cafe I had been meaning to try for ages so when I found myself in the vicinity while out doing some Saturday shopping with my parents we headed on in for a feed!
I’ve talked a lot on the blog about reducing waste & improving recycling, but today I wanted to share all the 5 Rs towards zero waste to help show the whole picture. By gradually trying to implement all 5 of these we can all head down the zero waste path together!
I don’t make risotto all that often but whenever I do I’m reminded how much I like it, and this sweet potato zucchini risotto is no different! It takes a little effort to make, but it’s well worth it and reheats really well. I tend to make a big risotto on a Sunday and then have dinner sorted for the next couple of nights – perfect!
