Christmas is nearly upon us and that often means buying small gifts for colleagues, teachers and friends, so I thought I would help this year with a guide to eco gifts under 25 bucks. These gifts are suitable for pretty much anyone and are not only eco friendly but useful (or edible!) too – way better than knick-knacks and the like in my books!
With Christmas quickly coming up on us it starts to be time to plan the menu for the day, and a big pile of greens is always an excellent choice to balance out the meal. These cranberry hazelnut greens are not only fresh and light but very Christmassy in flavour, and they look pretty too!
My final Foodie Files chat for the year is with the wonderful Vanessa from Style & Shenanigans! I’ve met Vanessa on a few occasions (and even bumped into her whilst out shopping one weekend!) and she’s absolutely as stylish and lovely as she comes across on her blog. I’m sure many of you are already following along with her food, style and family adventures, but if not then now is an excellent time to start!
My final Budapest Exploring post is all about the gorgeous thermal baths, amazing Market Hall and the impressive Heroes Square – seriously this city just ticks all the boxes! It really does have something for everyone, and I’m amazed at how much I managed to fit in to the 4.5 days I was there!
I always love it when pomegranate starts showing up in my fruit shop again as the juicy little seeds are perfect to jazz up pretty much any salad – including this sweet potato & pomegranate salad! It’s light, fresh, delicious and oh-so-simple to whip up!
