If you are a fan of I Spy Plum Pie on facebook you might have seen the amazing looking raw, vegan lasagne I posted on Friday. That beauty was from Sadhana Kitchen, a cafe/yoga studio in Newtown. Sadhana Kitchen is in a warehouse tucked down a sidestreet off Enmore Street and it prides itself on making delicious meals using living, wholefoods as well as cold pressed juices and smoothies, cakes and other sweet things. Weekend Adventures: Sydney
Last week I managed to skidaddle off work early on Thursday and jumped on a plane to Sydney to spend a long weekend with my sister to celebrate her birthday. She moved to Sydney earlier in the year and it was the first time I had been to visit her (although not my first visit to Sydney) and I had an excellent time exploring, eating, wandering and then eating some more. A couple of food stops were so delicious they will be getting a post all of their own, but today I wanted to share some of my weekend adventures with you!
Wintery Weekend Adventures: Phillip Island
Last weekend B and I headed down to his family’s holiday house on Phillip Island for a little getaway. It was very different from our last visit in February which was all about picnics and ocean swimming, this time we were much more rugged up and most of our weekend was focussed on food, which was quite fine by me! Warning – lots of photos to come!
Vanuatu Adventures: Underwater Fun
So I know I said that I was done bombarding you all with photos from our holiday, but I am now in possession of some photos that I just had to share! We took a disposable underwater camera with us and tried it out in a few different spots including snorkelling, the Mele Waterfalls and the blue holes. The fun with those kinds of cameras is you have noooo idea if any of the photos are going to turn out until you get them back! Lucky for us there are some great shots (and some absolute duds!) so I thought I would share a few with you today!
Vanuatu Adventures: Espiritu Santo
For the last few days of our trip we flew to the island of Espiritu Santo, or just Santo as it is known, which is north of Port Vila and the largest island in Vanuatu. The capital of Santo is Luganville, which is the second largest city in Vanuatu, although we were staying outside of the city at a resort called Turtle Bay Lodge.
