March GoodnessMe Box 2020 Review

It’s March GoodnessMe Box time! It’s a little strange to think how different things were back when this box arrived. However, the contents turned out to be surprisingly useful for these times of social distancing. As per usual I went with the vegan version of the box, so shall we see what was inside?

Upbeat Chocolate Porridge

I haven’t actually tried this one yet as I’m keeping it for if I need to treat myself after even longer staying in my apartment! However it sounds delicious, and the product from this company in the last GoodnessMe Box was tasty so I have high expectations!

Amy’s Kitchen Vegetable Soup

We’re not off to a good start – but I haven’t eaten this one yet either! I swear I did crack open the March GoodnessMe Box! I have kept this one aside for when the weather cools down more and I need a quick and simple lunch option. By the sounds of the ingredients I am expecting to enjoy it!

Nexba Kombucha

I haven’t been drinking as much kombucha lately as I was a few months back, but I was excited to see this in the March GoodnessMe Box. This flavour was right up my alley and it was super tasty. A good amount of ginger in the flavour, not too sweet and refreshing to boot. It made me wonder why I had stopped drinking kombucha!

Vamor Tampons

I really like that these tampons are free from bleaches and other nasties, and that they are working alongside a charity in Vanuatu. The idea of a subscription service is also appealing, and something I am going to look in to further.

Bennetto Chocolate

I have always been happy when I see Bennetto Chocolate in these boxes! This was an absolutely delicious flavour – I do love a nutty chocolate. It was an excellent snack option to have for the long days at my desk at home in March – although it was hard to ration it across more than a couple of sittings!

Inca Organics Raw Hemp Protein

I have been trying to make sure I have hearty enough breakfasts at home so I don’t end up feeling the need to snack all day long! So, I have been adding this protein to my smoothies or oats in the morning which has been an excellent idea. It’s not grainy, doesn’t leave an unpleasant taste and has no nasty ingredients. Just what I needed!

Natvia Sweetener Sticks

I don’t use much sugar outside of baking, so these sachets are unlikely to be helpful to me in this form. However, there’s a good chance I might need to use the sugar from inside the sachets for more regular usage if getting to the shops gets a little harder!

Tea Place Australia Peppermint Tea

Peppermint tea is one of my favourites and I have been making pots of looseleaf tea to drink at my desk while at home. This one has been excellent – full of flavour and nothing but peppermint. Once I have worked through my current tea stash I think I will be trying more of their teas!
