It’s October GoodnessMe Box review time! This month’s box was described as the ‘Conscious Box’ and was packed with snacks, drinks and things to cook with. An excellent mix and – spoiler alert – one of my favourite recent boxes! So, let’s see what was inside!
Loving Earth Chocolate
Loving Earth is one of my absolute favourite vegan chocolate brands (actually one of my favourite chocolate brands full stop!). So you can imagine how happy I was to see this in my October GoodnessMe Box! This definitely lived up to my expectations – crunchy almonds, creamy chocolate, so good!
Ceres Organics Mexican Jackfruit
Jackfruit has quickly become one of my favourite things to cook with given it’s versatility and texture. I normally marinate it myself, but this Ceres version was delicious and made for a super quick dinner option. I whipped up some tacos for a mid-week meal and they were delicious and so simple. Definitely something I will keep in the pantry for future options.
MMMore Power Cube
I have had a few of these treats in previous Boxes and I’ve enjoyed them all, and this was no exception! It was chocolately, delicious and the perfect size for a mid afternoon pick-me-up. I particularly love that they are in packaging that can be disposed of in a home composting system. A delicious treat without the waste, what more could you want!
Naked Harvest Thrive Plant Protein
With all the smoothies I have been making I am using quite a bit of protein powder lately. So I was very happy to see a new one to try in the October GoodnessMe Box. I really liked the vanilla flavour of this, and it blended in nicely without leaving any grainy residue. It definitely made for a delicious breakfast, that’s for sure.
Minor Figures Oat Milk
The Minor Figures lattes have become one of my go-to coffee options, but I hadn’t yet tried their oat milk. So I was very happy to have this in the October Box! It was creamy, delicious and made for excellent smoothies and in my iced coffees. I don’t froth milk for my coffees so I can’t speak to how it works for that, but I’ll definitely be buying it again.
Munchme Roasted Almonds
These roasted almonds were a seriously excellent work from home snack! Slightly salty, super crunchy and very tasty. They came in a resealable bag which was very handy – although they didn’t stick around all that long in my pantry to really be necessary! It was nice to have a savoury snack on hand to mix things up through all this working from home time.
Organic India Tulsi Tea
This tea was not one I had tried before, but it was really delicious. It was slightly spicy, slightly lemony and overall very tasty. I like that it is caffeine free so I could have it in the afternoon when I needed to mix things up from just drinking water like I normally do.
Dr Bronner’s Liquid Soap
I have used Dr Bronner’s soap on and off for a long time so it’s always nice to have more on hand. This bottle will come in very handy whenever it is I can next travel – given it can be used for pretty much anything! I usually go for the peppermint scent, but the lavender smells pretty excellent too.
Hemp Foods Australia Spread
This was one of the items I was most excited to try in the October GoodnessMe Box, and it was as good as I hoped. It was as delicious on carrots, on bread and on top of smoothie bowls – basically everywhere I used it! I’m definitely keen to try some of their other flavours too, particularly the almond, chia and hemp spread.
Prana On Plant Protein Bar
I’m yet to give the Prana On protein powder a try yet, but if this bar was anything to go on then I think I’d like it. The caramel latte flavour was really tasty – not super sweet with a good amount of coffee flavour. Delicious all round!
