Growing Veggies in the Inner City

There’s little better than cooking with vegetables and herbs picked straight from your garden, and with the growing focus on food miles and eating as healthy and sustainably as possible, growing your own veggies makes a lot of sense. Another week flies by

I don’t know about anyone else but I feel like this year is flying by. I can’t quite believe it’s already March – which is exciting in some ways as it’s both my birthday month and is also means Golden Plains festival is here again, but it’s also slightly frightening!

Recipe: Vegetable Frittata & Sweet Potato Salad

Another delivery of my organic veggie box arrived on Thursday, which was a great thing to come home to after spending over 13 hours at work that day. My mind is ticking over with things to make, but I decided to start with something simple for an easy Friday night dinner. The result was a veggie frittata with a nut-filled sweet potato salad. Delicious!

Packing a Picnic

love picnics. Always have, and most likely always will. I think the combination of being outside in the sunshine, eating delicious food and hanging out with friends and loved ones is pretty much perfect.
