September GoodnessMe Box Review 2021

Another month, another GoodnessMe Box review! The September GoodnessMe Box was a good mix of drinks, snacks and other goodies. As per usual I went with the vegan version of the both, so let’s see what was inside!

Mojo Kombucha Soda

I’m always happy to see kombucha in the GoodnessMe Box! I usually go for more fruity flavours but this cola was also delicious. I love having these kinds of drinks on hand for when I want something refreshing on a warm day, especially after a long walk. I’ll definitely be checking out more flavours too!

X50 Lifestyle Superfood Coffee

I usually have my coffee black rather than as a latte, but then it also doesn’t usually also have superfoods in it! I made this into an iced coffee and while I probably prefer my regular cold brew this was still a tasty way to start my day.

Kuranda Wholefoods Protein Bar

I like having protein bars on hand for days I need a pick-me-up or a protein boost, so I was really happy to have a new brand for me to try. I was even happier to find out that this was delicious! Mixed berry is right up my alley and this was packed with both flavour and protein. I’ll definitely be checking out more of these products!

Vivoo Wellness Test

I’m yet to give this product a try but I’m definitely intrigued by it. It is meant to help you track things like hydration and your kidney and liver function, which I’m sure can’t hurt! I will definitely be trying this out at some stage soon.

Nibblish Strawberries

I was very intrigued to see this product in the September GoodnessMe Box! I wasn’t disappointed either! These strawberries were soft, juicy and delicious and made for an excellent snack. They do pineapple and mango too so I will be keeping my eyes peeled for those to try.

Minor Figures Oat Milk

I am a big fan of all Minor Figures products, oat milk included. Given I don’t use milk in my coffee I probably didn’t put this to the test properly, but it sure was creamy and delicious in my oats and smoothies! No doubt I will continue to buy this in the future!

Karma Bites Puffed Lotus Seeds

This was another product I was intrigued to try from this month’s GoodnessMe Box! It’s safe to say they didn’t last long before I cracked them open either! They were an excellent crunchy snack, and I really liked the wasabi flavour. They had heat without being overpowering and I was a very happy camper working my way through this packet. I might have to try the peri-peri flavour next!

Shojo Turmeric Tonic

I wasn’t sure what this was going to taste like, but I was pleasantly surprised. Apple and monk fruit juices are two of the key ingredients so it’s definitely not as overpowering as I thought it might be. It’s always impossible to know whether I experience any of the purported benefits after just trying it once, but I certainly didn’t feel any worse for it!

Vetta Fibre Pasta

Pasta isn’t one of those ingredients that I have ever felt the need to have a quick version of, but I was at least interested to try this higher fibre pasta. I used this to whip up a quick lunch with some homemade pesto and it was certainly a simple and delicious meal. I’m keen to try out the high-fibre pasta again, but probably don’t need the quick version next time.
