Canberra Eating: Penny University Cafe

One of the first meals we had during our weekend in Canberra was at Penny University Cafe & Coffee Roasters in Kingston. The cafe was super busy when we arrived, with people not only at the tables inside and out, but lining up for takeaway coffee and food as well! Luckily we were able to snag a table straight away, and the staff were excellent despite the hubbub around them.

Weekend Adventures: Canberra

Over the Easter weekend my parents and I took a road trip to Canberra to visit my sister, and I’m ashamed to say it was my first visit to our nation’s capital! This is particularly bad given I am an urban planner and wrote many an essay on Canberra’s beginnings during my uni days. We had an excellent weekend exploring much of what Canberra had to offer, so I thought I would share some of the highlights here, so on to my Weekend Adventures: Canberra!

Review: Perfect Drop, Daylesford

I’ve finally made to my last review of places we ate on our little weekend away in Daylesford! For our final dinner we headed to the Perfect Drop, which was conveniently located right next door to our accommodation! We arrived during happy hour so perched ourselves on the front deck next to the wood heater, ordered ourselves a round of cocktails and settled in for a lovely evening!
