Weekend Adventures: Daylesford

Last weekend B and I headed to Daylesford, about 90 minutes from Melbourne, to belatedly celebrate our anniversary. We headed out of town around lunchtime on the Friday and were stupendously lucky with the weather, it was blue skies and sunshine the whole three days!

Holiday Adventures: Takaka New Zealand

Last Thursday my family and I hopped across the ditch, back to our homeland of New Zealand to attend my cousin’s wedding. It was being held in somewhat of an isolated location, so required us flying from Melbourne to Christchurch, then on to Nelson, towards the top of the South Island.

Holiday Adventures: Coolum, Queensland

I’ve just returned from 6 glorious days in Coolum, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland to windy, cold Melbourne and I’m not liking it one bit! My parents have been going to Coolum in the September school holidays (mum’s a primary school teacher) on and off for a few years now and they always stay in a two-bedroom apartment so that friends from Brisbane can come up and visit. A few weeks back they suggested I should come up and join them for part of the two weeks they were going and as I couldn’t seem to come up with a reason not to I booked my flights and away I went! Vanuatu Adventures: Underwater Fun

So I know I said that I was done bombarding you all with photos from our holiday, but I am now in possession of some photos that I just had to share! We took a disposable underwater camera with us and tried it out in a few different spots including snorkelling, the Mele Waterfalls and the blue holes. The fun with those kinds of cameras is you have noooo idea if any of the photos are going to turn out until you get them back! Lucky for us there are some great shots (and some absolute duds!) so I thought I would share a few with you today!
