Somehow the end of March is upon us, and with it the end of the first quarter of 2017! I’m also about to clock into a new decade so I thought it was an excellent time to stop, reflect and take stock. As usual, I’m using the prompters started by the lovely Pip from Meet Me At Mikes and I’d love for you to join in as well!
Making: plans to celebrate my birthday this weekend
Cooking: more hearty salads, less smoothies!
Drinking: all the coffee, as per usual!
Reading: still lots of autobiographies, but I’m about to start Mark Manson’s book
Wanting: more time in the week
Looking: forward to going to my first footy game of the year – on my birthday!
Deciding: what to wear for my birthday drinks
Enjoying: so many true-crime podcasts, it’s getting out of hand!
Waiting: for my dinner to be ready, I’m getting hungry
Liking: my new job, the people are ace!
Wondering: what the next decade is going to bring for me
Loving: these last few days of daylight savings, and all the hot cross buns!
Considering: myself very lucky, just in general
Buying: tickets to the comedy festival – I do love this time of year!
Watching: other than the footy, not a lot really
Hoping: for some good weather on the weekend
Marvelling: at how we got to this point of the year already!
Needing: to get myself organised for the weekend
Smelling: some gorgeous flowers I have in my apartment
Wearing: comfy clothes on the couch right now, more corporate gear to work than I used to!
Following: lots more blogs and instagram accounts about reducing waste, it’s my next serious sustainability focus I think
Thinking: back over my 20s before I farewell them, all in all they were pretty good!
Admiring: people making a huge difference in the zero-waste space (say that 5 times fast!)
Sorting: out my kitchen cupboards, they got a little out of hand lately
Getting: ready for the last day of my 20s!
Opening: so many emails, I think I need to do a digital detox
Giggling: watching clips of comedians while buying tickets
Feeling: pretty content all round
Snacking: on some carrot sticks
Hearing: my dinner bubbling away, it must be nearly ready!
