I’ve shared some of my favourite Christmas dishes previously but realised I didn’t include any vegetarian Christmas breakfast ideas. So today I am here to rectify that! I love a fancy breakfast at any time, so it should be no surprise that breakfast is one of my favourite parts of Christmas. I’d love to hear your suggestions too!
We have been doing Christmas breakfast with the same friends for about 25 years now, and the non-negotiables of our menu are croissants, gingerbread and lots of fruit (cherries in particular!). Whilst they will always make an appearance, here are some things that might make the menu this year!
Sweet
- Cranberry Bread
- Berry Pancake Tray
- Gingerbread brownies
- Fruit Scrolls
- Eggnog french toast bake
- Chocolate banana bread
- Maple pecan sticky buns
Savoury
- Zucchini, pea and feta tarts
- Brie and apple tart
- Haloumi corn fritters
- Gingerbread granola
- Cranberry almond muffins
- Apricot, fig and cranberry loaf
- Coconut Chia Pudding
Drinks
- Cranberry Mimosas
- Pomegranate Lime Cocktail
- Bloody Mary
- Bellini
- Passionfruit, Mango and Orange Fizz
- Nutmeg and Orange Coffee
