6 More Podcasts to Listen to Right Now

Back in August I shared some of my favourite podcasts with you and I’m back today with 6 more podcasts to listen to right now! I listen to podcasts pretty much constantly – walking to work, cooking, cleaning, at the gym, you name it. As a result I tend to be subscribed to quite a large array of podcasts to make sure there’s always the perfect option to suit my mood!

Today’s podcasts cover everything from American history to Australian comedy, productivity and everything in between! So, here’s 6 more podcasts I recommend you give a listen to!

6 More Podcasts to Listen to Right Now

1. The Dollop

The Dollop is an American history podcast hosted by comedians Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds. Every episode Dave tells Gareth a story about a true part of American history without Gareth knowing what to expect, which makes for some hilarious reactions. They came out to Australia earlier in the year and did some live shows focused on stories from our history, so that is a good way to introduce yourself to the podcast, although I’m enjoying hearing the American stories too!

2. The Little Dum Dum Club

This podcast is hosted by Australian comedians Karl Chandler and Tommy Dassalo and features guest comedians every episode too. They’ve been doing the podcast for years now and it’s pretty hilarious, albeit a little crude at times! It definitely comes with a language warning! They never fail to crack me up though, that’s for sure.

3. Can You Take This Photo Please

Can you take this photo please is the podcast of comedian Justin Hamilton where he talks to guests – often other comedians – about their careers, writing processes and life in general. He’s intelligent and thoughtful which makes for really interesting conversations, and the podcast provides some really interesting insights into the life of comedians both here in Australia and overseas.

4. Chat 10 Looks 3

Chat 10 Looks 3 is the podcast of Annabel Crabb and Leigh Sales and it really does just feel like you’re eavesdropping on them just hanging out and having a chat! They talk about baking, who they have both been interviewing lately, books, politics, and Leigh even occasionally breaks into song! It’s a delightful podcast and it makes me want to hang out and be friends with them both!

5. I Love Green Guide Letters

The I Love Green Guide Letters podcast is hosted by Steele Saunders and features a range of guests each week, where they read letters from the Age newspaper TV guide, the Green Guide. It’s been going for years and is really hilarious, with the letters providing a mere kicking off point for all kinds of ridiculous conversations. It’s well worth a listen!

6. The Activity Pod

The Activity Pod is a new one on my listening-list (and a new podcast in general!), hosted by Mel Kettle and Annette Jones, talking all things accountability, organisation, productivity and finding motivation to get things done. They have already chatted to some great guests including Valerie Khoo and Julie Goodwin and I’m sure they’ll have even more inspiring chats in coming episodes too!

There we have it, 6 more podcasts to listen to right now! I’d love to hear your favourites too!

I am so late to the party… I’ve only just started getting into podcasts in the last couple of weeks and I’m addicted! Love the beautiful souls at She Makes Magic, and for the blogger I’m slowly working my way through all the podcasts at Chopped Con. Liz – check out Cheeky Monkey (Brooke Lark) and then go from there.
