Recipe: Apple-Berry Crumble Muffins

There’s something about adding a crumble top to muffins that makes them that much more delicious. The combination of soft, fluffy muffin and a crunchy top turns these simple muffins into something worth serving to friends for morning tea (if they last that long!). The best part is the crumble top is super simple so there’s no reason you couldn’t use it as on top of all your muffins! Unless of course you ate so much you got sick of it, that would be terrible! Recipe: Cauliflower & Corn Soup

Melbourne has been teasing us recently with some days of beautiful sunshine, before descending straight back into winter with pouring rain and freezing temperatures. After making biscuits using quinoa flakes a few weeks ago I decided it was time to try a slightly different recipe and use some of the desiccated coconut I had sitting in the cupboard. These turned out really tasty and aren’t overly sweet so make a great morning snack with a cup of tea. I used coconut sugar but if you don’t have any brown sugar (or a liquid like agave syrup) will work as well.

Recipe: Miso Sesame Greens

This recipe is all about the dressing – a tangy, salty, delicious concoction that works equally well on a salad as it does a stir-fry, or as I have used it here to dress up some simple steamed greens. The best part is it can be whipped up in mere minutes so you can have dinner on the table in a flash on those nights where slaving over the stove just doesn’t seem appealing. Perfect!
