We’re back with the first GoodnessMe Box for 2021! The January GoodnessMe Box was self-care themed and had all bases covered – snacks, drinks, breakfast, dinner – you name it! As usual I got the vegan version – here’s what was inside!
Nutrafruit Plum Nectar
Plums are one of my favourite summer fruits, so I was very intrigued to see this in the January GoodnessMe Box. It was thick, delicious and super versatile too. I used some of it in a smoothie and the rest I had with yoghurt on my morning muesli. Both ways were delicious!
QI Tea
I’ve mentioned before that I don’t love when something markets itself as a ‘detox’ product, but just viewed as a tea these were great. I used them to make iced tea and it was such a delicious flavour combo, especially with some fresh lemon slices thrown in. It made for an excellent alternative to water to get me through warm work days.
Casalare Macaroni Twists
I used these cute little macaroni to make a pasta salad and they worked really well. I tend to choose chickpea or the like as my pasta alternative but this was delicious too. I love that it’s a Victorian company as well – I’ll definitely be checking out more of their products.
PB Fit Peanut Butter Powder
This powder went straight in a smoothie for a banana-peanut butter smoothie bowl and it was delicious. It blended in really well and unsurprisingly resulted in an excellent peanuty flavour. It was such an easy way to get a good hit of protein into my breakfast as well.
Liquefy SUP Shot
I probably didn’t drink these as intended, but I did enjoy them! Instead of having them as just a shot of cranberry I added them to my sparkling water for a bit of delicious flavour which made for an excellent summer drink. I’m sure I still got the cranberry goodness that way as well!
Rochway Probiotic Powder
This is another one that has been going in my morning smoothie! For the most part I like to ensure I am eating my greens, but I figure there’s no harm in getting a little more in my diet when I can as well, especially given there are probiotics involved as well. This blended in well and didn’t leave my smoothie tasting like I was drinking grass which is always a plus! It’s a decent sized tub as well which is a bonus.
Carman’s Macadamia & Raspberry Muesli
I’ve long been a fan of Carman’s products so I was very happy to see this in the January GoodnessMe Box. I wasn’t disappointed either! It is one of my favourite flavour combos and made for an excellent breakfast for me when topped with a little yogurt and fresh berries. I hope it’s not too limited edition because I’d definitely buy this again.
Tasti Made Simple Lamington
This bar really was as described! Super short and excellent ingredients list, and a delicious lamington-esque flavour. It was quite sweet from the dates, but made for an excellent snack while on the go, I’ve tried a few of this company’s products in previous boxes now and I’m yet to be disappointed with any of them!
Affirmations Publishing Card
I’m one of those people that likes to have cards on hand for when I need them, so this was a lovely one to add to my collection. The card is nice quality and whilst it might not be the most versatile of sayings on the front, I am sure I will find a recipient at some stage!
Super Cubes Trail Mix Bar
The last item in my January GoodnessMe Box wasn’t actually on the card, so I’m not sure if I just got lucky with a bonus product! Either way, this bar was delicious! Packed with nuts, seeds, cacao and coconut it really was like eating trail mix but less messy! Another excellent snack option that didn’t last long in my pantry!
