It’s July Favourite Find time! This month my favourite finds are a bit of a mix – and for once not all food related! There’s goodies to help me stay organised, reduce waste and all kinds of other things. As per usual, I’d love to hear about any July Favourite Finds you’ve had as well!
Earring Stand
I’d seen people raving about Bon Maxie’s earring stands for a while, so decided it was time to pick one up for myself. I have a decent – without being over the top – earring collection, and was previously storing them in little bowls which was just getting messy. It also meant I kept forgetting about some of the pairs I had! So, I picked up a mid-sized stand and I seriously love it. I can see what I have in an instant, and everything is so much better organised. It looks pretty on my side table too!
Seed and Sprout
Just before Plastic Free July kicked off Seed and Sprout had a massive sale, so I decided to stock up on some goodies I had my eye on. I was particularly keen to get one of their big carry bags, as well as some non-mesh produce bags for some things like chia seeds. So, I went with the Farmer’s Market starter kit which is an absolute winner, and I have been using all the bags regularly since. I also got a set of the stretch lids which are also fantastic. I use them to cover my overnight oats, leftovers from dinner, cut fruit and veggies – you name it!
Mecca Max Makeup
Over time I have been slowly replacing all my makeup with eco friendly, cruelty free alternatives. These Mecca Max options have quickly become absolute favourites of mine. I love that they are an easy-to-find, reasonably priced, vegan friendly option with a huge range of products. I haven’t tried a huge amount of the range yet, but everything I have tried has been excellent. That coral blush has become my daily go-to, as has the liquid eyeliner!
Soda Syrup
I’d been looking for something delicious to have as a drink that wasn’t alcoholic, and this soda syrup has been a winner. I love the raspberry-mint flavour, and it’s such a simple way to make a drink that seems fancy! Even though I mostly got it to have as an alternative to alcohol, it’s also delicious with some gin, just FYI!
