November Favourite Finds 2021

It’s November Favourite Finds time! I not only had a week of leave this month, but managed to leave Melbourne for the first time in many months, so it’s safe to say it was a good month all round. I will share some of my favourite places we ate while in Queenscliff in separate posts though, otherwise this would be a very long list! I’d love to hear about your November favourite finds too!

Rollie Slides

I have a small collection of Rollie shoes now given how comfortable they are, and I added some slides to the mix this month. They are as comfortable as hoped, and are so good to just throw on for a quick trip to the shops, or out and about. Plus they look a little fancier than thongs! I feel like these will be getting a lot of wear this summer – and they are a fun colour too!

Moon Dog Ginger Beer

Moon Dog make lots of beers that I love, so when I spotted these new ginger beers at my local bottle shop I knew I should try them. I was absolutely right! This is such a good summer drink – not too heavy, very gingery and all round delicious. I’ll be picking up some more, that’s for sure!

Queenscliff Distillery

While in Queenscliff we visited the brewery and distillery to give their products a try. I love doing tasting paddles as it’s such a great way to try a range without going completely overboard in the process. We were very happy with our decision too as both were excellent!

So much so that two different gins may have come home with us – the Botanical for my folks and the Citrus for me. I’m looking forward to enjoying both this summer, that’s for sure!

Curious Cabinet Syrup

One of my favourite things to do when in country towns is see what local goodies I can buy.  I spotted this rhubarb shrub syrup in a providore and it very quickly was in my basket and coming home with me. It is designed to go in soda water or with gin and has a deliciously tart flavour. Another one that will be on high rotation this summer!
