It’s October Favourite Finds time! This month sure was a rollercoaster here in Melbourne as we finally started to emerge from lockdown. It’s safe to say returning to seeing friends, a cautious return to outdoor dining, and getting vaccinated were my absolute highlights. However, that wouldn’t make for much of interest to share – so here’s some other favourites of the month!
New Glassware
Over the last few years I have found myself enjoying a gin or even a homemade cocktail more than I ever used to. However, I haven’t had any nice glasses to enjoy them from, and my stemless wineglasses just weren’t cutting the mustard anymore. So, I decided to treat myself to some new glassware in a recent sale and I’m so glad I did. They are Luigi Bormioli brand and they have been so lovely to drink from. A definite October favourite find!
New Sneakers
Sneakers have been basically my only regular shoe for nearly two years now and with all the lockdown walking I have been doing mine were well past the end of their useful life. It was time for an upgrade! Nike had a sale so I scooped in and bought two new pairs. My feet are so thankful for the actual support again, that’s for sure!
Mingle Seasoning
After being reminded of how much I like Mingle Seasoning products after getting one in a recent GoodnessMe Box, I decided to add a couple more to my collection. Both of these have gone into high rotation in my cooking – so good on roast vegetables! I love anything smokey so if I had to pick that one would probably be my absolute favourite, but it’s a close call!
Frank Body Lotion
Now I know I share Frank Body products a lot, but that’s just because I really enjoy basically everything I try! I actually picked this up last month but gave it a good trial over the course of October and have been really liking it. It’s great as a moisturiser, but the fact it also helps exfoliate is such a great bonus. It’s such a good evening body lotion, and absorbs really nicely too. A definite new favourite!
