It’s October favourite finds time! This month has been a very busy one in my work-world but with longer, warmer days it was still a good one in general! My favourite finds this month are very reflective of the time I have spent at home – books, some healthy eating and lots of skincare! I’d love to hear about your October favourite finds too!
Go-To Prep Step
I’ve tried a lot of Go To Skincare products over time, and many of them have made their way into my regular routine. I have a feeling Prep Step is highly likely to move from September favourite finds to ongoing regular very quickly! It’s such a great (and simple!) way to boost my skin’s hydration, and is perfect to use before products that require damp skin to be most effective. Definitely a new favourite!
Tropeaka Strawberry Cream Protein Powder
I’ve bought lots of Tropeaka protein powders over the last couple of years, and whilst vanilla is by far my most re-purchased flavour, I love trying new flavours as they come out. The strawberry cream flavour is absolutely delicious and has made for the best overnight oats. This is a limited edition flavour so I might need to stock up while I can!
Glow Recipe Watermelon Dew Drops
I’m clearly on a bit of a skincare run lately! I had seen these around for a while but after a friend strongly recommended them to me recently so I thought I’d pick them up and give them a try. Watermelon is one of my least favourite scents, but thankfully I don’t find that it lingers around for long. More importantly, the product itself does feel like it is leaving my skin more glowy and bright, and I love using these right before foundation.
Autobiographies
This is a pretty broad category for my favourite finds, but it’s accurate! I’ve been on a bit of an autobiography reading-spree lately, and all kinds of them too! I mentioned a couple in my most recent Reading Challenge Check-In post, but since then I have also sped through The Girl Who Fell From The Sky and Some Kind of Magic.
I have both Grace Tame and Myf Warhurst’s books sitting on my bedside table at the moment. I’m very much enjoying reading all about some very different life stories through these books, so highly recommend picking up some autobiographies to read!
Kosas Foundation
I was in the market for a new foundation and saw nothing but rave reviews after this one was released. After getting myself a sample to try for a week I very quickly picked up a full bottle before it sold out, that’s how much it lived up to the hype for me! I love that it’s lightweight, feels nourishing and wears super well. I picked up the matching concealer as well which I also love – basically I absolutely have a new favourite base combo!
