It’s September GoodnessMe Box time! As always I got the vegan version of the monthly box, and as always it was packed with goodies. This month included some old favourites as well as plenty of new (to me) brands. An excellent box all round! So, let’s see what was inside shall we?
Tasti Protein Bar
I’ve tried a few Tasti products in previous GoodnessMe Boxes and always really liked them. This one was no exception! The flavour combo of peanut butter and berry was a winner, and it was an excellent size for a snack on the run. I love how simple the ingredients are, and I’m definitely keen to give the other flavours a try.
Monkfruit Sweetener
I was very intrigued when I saw this product in the box, that’s for sure. I’m not one to try and avoid sugar in baked goods – I just try not to eat them too often instead. I was keen to give it a try though, and so far it has worked well in everything I’ve added it to. I’ve used it in some baked goods and it seemed to work well and didn’t add any noticeable flavour, so I’m calling that a win!
Hemp Oz Sparking Water
This was another item that intrigued me in the September GoodnessMe Box! A sparkling spring water infused with hemp and flavoured with lemon and ginger! It was tasty, with the combo of the ginger and hemp adding an interesting flavour to the mix. It wasn’t overly carbonated which I enjoyed, and all in all made for a refreshing drink option.
Elements Organic Tea
I’ve been drinking a lot more tea lately so I was happy to find these in this month’s box. They were two of my favourite flavours too – mint and lemon. Both were delicious, and whilst I can’t be sure the added vitamins were of any benefit I’m sure they didn’t hurt either!
Ayam Curry Paste
I make a lot of curries and whilst I often make my own curry paste I also love having some in the pantry for a quick dinner option. I was very happy to see this curry paste in the box, that’s for sure! I love that it’s packed with real ingredients and no preservatives, plus it’s super tasty. It’s a curry paste I had bought a few times before, so it was an excellent addition to my pantry!
Rebel Kitchen Orange Chocolate Mylk
I couldn’t tell you the last time I had a drink like this one, but now I know what I have been missing out on! Having a mylk drink like this took me back to my childhood, but better! I loved the choc-orange flavour, and the mylk was creamy and smooth. I’m super keen to give the iced coffee flavour a try next!
Bae Juice
This was definitely not a product I had seen before! Which I guess is exactly why I have subscribed to GoodnessMe Box for so long now. I was super intrigued by the claims of this pear juice around fixing, or helping to avoid, hangovers that’s for sure. At my age I try and avoid hangovers anyway, but that can’t always be the case. I didn’t find myself needing this juice for that purpose this month, but instead had it on a morning I just needed a pep up. It was delicious, albeit a little weird to drink out of the pouch, and I definitely felt happier afterwards!
Mr Lee’s Zen Garden Noodles
Noodle cups is another thing I hadn’t eaten in a long time, but I was very keen to give these ones a try. They made an excellent quick weekend lunch between activities, and I’d happily eat them again and again. Lots of flavour, great noodles, and recognisable vegetables. A delicious quick meal option that I’ll be keeping my eyes open for in shops.
Envirocare Fruit and Veg Wash
This was the only non-food item in the September GoodnessMe Box, and it was a good one! I don’t always wash my veggies, even though I know I should, so this is an excellent product to get me more in the habit. I love that it’s completely natural ingredients, and it seems to do an excellent job as well. A little goes a long way too, so I’m going to get heaps of use out of this bottle, that’s for sure.
Blue Dinosaur Bar
Last but not least was this Blue Dinosaur bar! I’ve tried lots of their products in previous boxes, but this was a new flavour to me. It was a good one too! I love apricot and ginger, so this was practically designed for me. It wasn’t too sweet either, and made for an excellent snack on a long work day. Delicious!
