Today I thought I would share two great spots we visited on our visit to South Gippsland in late 2020. If you’re heading out to explore Victoria this summer I highly recommend you add both Burra Brewery and Gurneys Cider to your itinerary. Delicious drinks, great food and lovely settings too!
Phew, it’s been quite the month! The last few weeks have been pretty intense for me – work has been flat out, I’m rehearsing for a choral performance, and in between all that I’ve tried to fit in plenty of social activities too. Thankfully I’ve also prioritised some down time. So, unsurprisingly my November Favourite Finds cover all those bases too! I’d love to hear about yours as well!
It’s been a very long time since I’ve added to my Pubs for Vegetarian series, and I can’t believe that Stomping Ground hadn’t got a mention yet! To call it a pub does it a bit of disservice, it’s actually a brewery with an attached beer hall – but that’s just semantics!
My September Favourite Finds are very liquid heavy this time around – from the healthy to the not so healthy kind! I had a pretty excellent month all round, including a glorious week spent in sunny Port Douglas (more on that in a separate post!) and lots of other fun times along the way. Over the Easter weekend my parents and I took a road trip to Canberra to visit my sister, and I’m ashamed to say it was my first visit to our nation’s capital! This is particularly bad given I am an urban planner and wrote many an essay on Canberra’s beginnings during my uni days. We had an excellent weekend exploring much of what Canberra had to offer, so I thought I would share some of the highlights here, so on to my Weekend Adventures: Canberra!
