April Favourite Finds 2018

Another month is down, so it’s time for my April Favourite Finds for 2018! April was a mixed month for me, it started positively with family here from New Zealand to celebrate my mum’s 60th Birthday, but also had some much sadder times when we had to say goodbye to my Nan. Needless to say, it’s been a family-centric month and that’s a-ok with me. I did manage to find myself some new goodies to try though!

Recipe: Date Fudge Slice

I’m not going to lie, this slice is not the prettiest thing I’ve ever shared here on the blog, but it sure is tasty! This gooey date fudge slice is deceptively healthy, it’s free from flour and added sugar and is both vegan and gluten free. It might be slightly messy to eat, but it’s worth it, I promise!

Recipe: Cashew Milk & Smoothies

I’ve been drinking nut milks for a year or two now, but I’d never gotten around to making my own. I decided that it was time to rectify this by making my first ever batch of cashew milk, and let me tell you I’m very sad I hadn’t tried it earlier – not only was it super simple to make but oh boy was it delicious. So so creamy.

Recipe: Cashew and Cranberry Bliss Balls

I went through a stage quite some time back where I was experimenting with lots of different Bliss Ball varieties with traditional date & cacao balls, fig & goji bliss balls and apricot & almond balls all getting a run in my kitchen. I hadn’t made any in such a long time so when I was trying to think of a tasty snack to take to work I decided it was time to try a new flavour combination. I had a rather large supply of dried cranberries on hand so Cashew and Cranberry Bliss Balls seemed the appropriate way to go!
