Autumn Planting Guide

Summer has come to an end so it’s time to start preparing our veggie patches for the colder months ahead, so I thought I would start things off with an Autumn planting guide. Most of this advice is suitable for people living in a temperate or cool climate which includes most of Victoria, the eastern coast of NSW as far inland as Canberra, the coastline around SA and southern WA, all of Tasmania and a tiny part of southern QLD.

Chemical Free Weed Control

Lucky for me my little balcony garden doesn’t seem to attract weeds (caterpillars and aphids on the other hand, they love it!), but I know many of you that have ground level gardens aren’t quite so lucky! So, I’ve done some research and today I thought I’d share my learnings on chemical free weeding so you can have a flourishing garden without having to rely on nasty chemicals.
