Today as part of my ‘Spotlight On‘ series, I wanted to shine the light on the Thankyou Movement, which is a social enterprise based out of Melbourne. Their model is similar to that of Who Gives A Crap whereby the products they sell provide a directly linked benefit to a community in need, but this time it’s through food, water and body care products.
Spotlight On: Who Gives A Crap
The topic of today’s post is a little different to what I usually write about, but today I want to talk about toilet paper. Specifically, Who Gives A Crap’s toilet paper. Who Gives A Crap is a company that started in Melbourne just over a year ago and creates sustainable, fully recycled toilet paper that is free from inks, dyes and perfumes. Even better than that, 50% of the profits of their sales goes to Water Aid to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world – how impressive is that! Toilet paper with a heart!
