Fun fact: I used to be able to see the Carringbush Hotel through my old bedroom window, and never actually visited. More recently though, it’s changed hands, had a makeover and now features an entirely vegetarian menu and an excellent beer list. I knew I needed to give it a try!
To celebrate both my birthday and my mum’s we decided to treat ourselves to Sunday lunch at Maha. I had heard excellent things from friends that had been recently, and so was very much looking forward to seeing what we would be served! Spoiler alert, the whole thing more than lived up to expectations!
I know we say this all the time, but how on earth is it the end of May already?! It was a pretty good month all round, with lots on at work but plenty of play as well! It’s been a while since I’ve done a cafe review, but after eating at Zen Den a few times lately I thought it was about time I rectify that! The standard of cafe in Eltham sure has gone up a notch or two since I lived there as a kid, so I’m always happy to go out for brunch when I’m out visiting my folks!
