Review: New Jaffa, Collingwood

Over the Queens Birthday long weekend I finally had the chance to give New Jaffa a try for lunch. It’s been on my list since it opened, so when my family asked me to pick somewhere for us to go it was an easy choice. I love Middle Eastern food so knew this would be right up my alley, and it’s safe to say I wasn’t disappointed!

Review: Maha, Melbourne

To celebrate both my birthday and my mum’s we decided to treat ourselves to Sunday lunch at Maha. I had heard excellent things from friends that had been recently, and so was very much looking forward to seeing what we would be served! Spoiler alert, the whole thing more than lived up to expectations!

Review: Bayte

Despite living not very far from Bayte, I first heard about this middle eastern inspired cafe when Cindy and Michael reviewed in on their blog back in June. I decided then I needed to give it a try, so B and I finally made it there one sunny Sunday morning. We sat out in the back courtyard and soaked up the winter sun, while struggling over what to order as all the vegetarian dishes sounded delicious.
