Taking Stock: March 2017

Somehow the end of March is upon us, and with it the end of the first quarter of 2017! I’m also about to clock into a new decade so I thought it was an excellent time to stop, reflect and take stock. As usual, I’m using the prompters started by the lovely Pip from Meet Me At Mikes and I’d love for you to join in as well!

Making: plans to celebrate my birthday this weekend
Cooking: more hearty salads, less smoothies!
Drinking: all the coffee, as per usual!

Taking Stock: March 2017 | I Spy Plum PieReading: still lots of autobiographies, but I’m about to start Mark Manson’s book
more time in the week
forward to going to my first footy game of the year – on my birthday!
what to wear for my birthday drinks

Taking Stock: March 2017 | I Spy Plum PieEnjoying: so many true-crime podcasts, it’s getting out of hand!
for my dinner to be ready, I’m getting hungry
my new job, the people are ace!
what the next decade is going to bring for me
Loving: these last few days of daylight savings, and all the hot cross buns!
myself very lucky, just in general

March Favourite Finds | I Spy Plum PieBuying: tickets to the comedy festival – I do love this time of year!
other than the footy, not a lot really
for some good weather on the weekend
at how we got to this point of the year already!
to get myself organised for the weekend
some gorgeous flowers I have in my apartment

Taking Stock: March 2017 | I Spy Plum PieWearing: comfy clothes on the couch right now, more corporate gear to work than I used to!
lots more blogs and instagram accounts about reducing waste, it’s my next serious sustainability focus I think
back over my 20s before I farewell them, all in all they were pretty good!
people making a huge difference in the zero-waste space (say that 5 times fast!)
out my kitchen cupboards, they got a little out of hand lately
ready for the last day of my 20s!
so many emails, I think I need to do a digital detox

Taking Stock: March 2017 | I Spy Plum PieGiggling: watching clips of comedians while buying tickets
pretty content all round
on some carrot sticks
my dinner bubbling away, it must be nearly ready!

I hope you liked this Taking Stock post for March! If you give it a try leave a link in the comments so I can check it out!

What sustainability blogs are you following? I am going to make a serious effort at trying to reduce my plastic consumption and am keen for ideas… I need to find somewhere where I can buy cheese without the plastic though!
