During my recent trip back over the ditch to New Zealand I was charged with finding the family somewhere for lunch in Christchurch. After some googling I settled on Town Tonic, and everyone was super happy that I did!
Last week I was lucky enough to spend the day at Cobram Estate, in northern Victoria, to learn all about olive oil production. And learn I did! We got to experience the harvesting process, an olive oil tasting, hear from a nutritionist then topped it all off with a delicious lunch. Today I want to share some of my learnings with you all as well!
Today’s post is all about Slovenia Exploring: Markets and Food as Slovenia does markets oh so well! I thought I would share some of my highlights from both Ljubljana and Bled so fellow vegetarians are able to find places to eat as well!
Whilst staying in Lake Bled I did some exploring of the local area including trips to Vintgar Gorge & Lake Bohinj which were both incredibly beautiful locations. They’re easy to get to so I would highly recommend you visit both!
Whilst in Slovenia I headed out to Lake Bled for a couple of nights and found myself in a town so beautiful it looks like it’s from a fairytale. It’s only a short, easy bus ride from Ljubljana so if you’re thinking of heading to Slovenia then you must put it on your to do list!
