How to be Sustainable at Work

No matter where you work there are ways you can make your own working day more sustainable by making some small changes to how you operate. Of course, if you can bring some colleagues along on the journey with you then that’s even better, but unfortunately that’s not always an option! So today I thought I’d share with you some of my top tips on how to be sustainable at work, and I’d love to hear yours too!

2015 Eco-Resolutions

Reducing my impact on the planet is something I think about a lot and whilst I know I’ve gotten better over the years there’s definitely still room for improvement! Like most people, some weeks I’m better than others, and I’m better at some elements than others, so this year I have decided to set myself some eco-resolutions! Resolutions are generally better met if they are committed to publicly, so I thought I’d share them with you all today!

Spotlight On: Words With Heart

It’s been a little while since the last post in my Spotlight On series, where I highlight companies or products that I think are doing fabulous work and deserve to be supported. Over the last few years a few companies have entered the market here in Australia that do something that I really love – they’re providing products that we (almost) all use, are eco friendly and are committed to giving back to people who need it most. Two of my favourites are Who Gives A Crap and Thankyou, and now I can add a new favourite to that list – Words With Heart.

Wrapping presents is something I really love doing but the amount of paper that can get wasted isn’t something that sits well with me. Today I thought I’d share some eco friendly Christmas wrapping ideas so you can still have gorgeously wrapped pressies with a little less impact on the planet.
