Now that we are quarter of the way through the year I thought I would do a reading challenge check in! I have been steady if not prolific in my reading so far this year, but the books that I have been reading have almost all been excellent. I have been trying to be more deliberate with my choices in line with the challenges I set myself. So, here are some of my favourite books so far in 2021.

January Favourite Finds 2021

It’s January Favourite Finds time for 2021! This month is a mix of food, drinks, reading and exercising, what I see as a good balance really! I spent a bit of the month on holidays, a bit in quarantine (not my favourite part!) and the rest back at work. I still managed to get out and about a little – including a few trips to the MCG which was nice return to somewhat normality! I’d love to hear about your January Favourite Finds too!

Reading Challenges I Am Setting Myself For 2021

One of the things I want to take with me from 2020 is how much reading I did. Getting back in to the regular habit of reading before bed every night was such a positive for me, so I’m making a commitment to keeping it up in 2021 too. However, I also want to go further than that and focus on making sure I am reading a diverse range of stories from a broader range of authors. So, here are some of the reading challenges I am setting myself for 2021!

It’s no secret that things haven’t been all that easy here in Melbourne for a number of months now. Whilst I have definitely had some rough patches along the way, over the last little while I have been trying to focus on some of the things I am seeing as silver linings of lockdown.
