Over the Queens Birthday long weekend I finally had the chance to give New Jaffa a try for lunch. It’s been on my list since it opened, so when my family asked me to pick somewhere for us to go it was an easy choice. I love Middle Eastern food so knew this would be right up my alley, and it’s safe to say I wasn’t disappointed!
Roast veggies are one of my favourite things, so it should come as no surprise that I love this herby roast pumpkin. It’s super simple but oh-so-delicious. I’m also always looking for dishes that can be the main event for a dinner party or even Christmas, and I think this might be one of them. Yum!
It’s May GoodnessMe Box time! This month I accidentally got the non-vegan version of the May GoodnessMe Box delivered, but they fixed things up quick smart. In fact, within a day of me emailing the team the correct one was in the mail and on my doorstep a few days after that. How’s that for customer service! Way back for Mother’s Day I wanted to whip up some baked goods to have after lunch, and muffins are one of my mum’s favourites. So, carrot apple muffins it was! They’re super simple, deliciously spiced and perfect for using those sweet, in-season apples. You should definitely give them a try!
