It’s time for my final post on the best places we ate while in Washington DC – dinner at Oyster Oyster! Spoiler alert, this was probably also the absolute best meal we had on our holiday, and one of the best meals I have had in years. A big call, I know!
I’ve mostly been sharing some of the amazing restaurants we ate at on our American holiday, but today’s post is a little different. We spent four days in New Orleans and managed to do quite a diverse range of activities, so I thought I would share some of the absolute highlights, to help you plan a long weekend in New Orleans too!
The next stop on my American eating adventures took us to New Orleans! We were there for a long weekend and tried as much of the local cuisine as we could. We did want one fancy dinner though, so booked a Friday night dinner at Coquette.
Next up on my Washington DCeating adventures took us to Fancy Radish. An excellent name, and even better food! Fancy Radish is an entirely vegetarian menu and it’s designed for sharing which I’m a big fan of. In fact, we ordered one of everything! Nothing better than getting to try the whole menu!
The next stop on our Washington DC eating adventures was dinner at Albi. Given the focus is on Levantine cooking I was very excited as it’s one of my favourite cuisines (and veg friendly!). The space was lovely, the staff were incredibly helpful and we could see into the kitchen which I always love. A couple of weeks after we visited Albi was awarded their first Michelin star, so it’s probably going to come as no surprise that we loved our visit!
