I headed out to Healesville on a rainy Friday recently to make the most of a long weekend where I should have been in Sydney. We booked lunch at Innocent Bystander and while it may not have been the trip to Hamilton I had planned, it was a very delicious alternative.

On my recent trip to Port Douglas we visited Hemingway’s Brewery again on a couple of occasions, so I thought I would share my thoughts with you all today. Finding tasty vegetarian food can be a little tricky at seaside locations, but Hemingway’s Brewery had enough options to keep me happy!
Pubs for Vegetarians: Stomping Ground, Collingwood
It’s been a very long time since I’ve added to my Pubs for Vegetarian series, and I can’t believe that Stomping Ground hadn’t got a mention yet! To call it a pub does it a bit of disservice, it’s actually a brewery with an attached beer hall – but that’s just semantics!

Italian food never rates highly in my mind when deciding on somewhere to eat out, but homemade pizzas are a whole different story. I love that we can control both the types and amount of toppings we use and customise them to be exactly how we want them.
