10 Ways to Eat More Vegetables

If you follow I Spy Plum Pie on facebook or are on my newsletter list then you’ll have probably seen me talking about a bunch of new podcasts I’ve been listening to lately, including Straight & Curly hosted by Carly from Smaggle and Kelly Exeter from A Life Less Frantic. They did an episode recently on eating 5 cups of vegetables a day which got me thinking, so today I’m sharing my favourite easy ways to eat more vegetables. I’d love to hear your tips too!

Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen

Recently a friend was telling me she was looking at introducing more organic food into her life, and when I mentioned the dirty dozen and clean fifteen lists she didn’t know what I was talking about, and it dawned on me that she might not be the only one! Spring Planting Guide

The longer days and additional sunshine that heralds the start of Spring makes it a perfect time to get back out amongst our gardens (or continue gardening if Winter didn’t put you off!) and get planting! Autumn Planting Guide

Summer has come to an end so it’s time to start preparing our veggie patches for the colder months ahead, so I thought I would start things off with an Autumn planting guide. Most of this advice is suitable for people living in a temperate or cool climate which includes most of Victoria, the eastern coast of NSW as far inland as Canberra, the coastline around SA and southern WA, all of Tasmania and a tiny part of southern QLD.
