If you follow I Spy Plum Pie on facebook or are on my newsletter list then you’ll have probably seen me talking about a bunch of new podcasts I’ve been listening to lately, including Straight & Curly hosted by Carly from Smaggle and Kelly Exeter from A Life Less Frantic. They did an episode recently on eating 5 cups of vegetables a day which got me thinking, so today I’m sharing my favourite easy ways to eat more vegetables. I’d love to hear your tips too!
Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen
Recently a friend was telling me she was looking at introducing more organic food into her life, and when I mentioned the dirty dozen and clean fifteen lists she didn’t know what I was talking about, and it dawned on me that she might not be the only one! Not everyone spends their spare time reading about these kinds of things like I do (nerd alert!) so today I thought I would share this useful resource with all of you too!
Spring Planting Guide
The longer days and additional sunshine that heralds the start of Spring makes it a perfect time to get back out amongst our gardens (or continue gardening if Winter didn’t put you off!) and get planting! Spring is a wonderful time to grow all kinds of delicious veggies and herbs, so I’m here to get you started with a guide to Spring planting!
Autumn Balcony Garden Update

Autumn Planting Guide

Most of this advice is suitable for people living in a temperate or cool climate which includes most of Victoria, the eastern coast of NSW as far inland as Canberra, the coastline around SA and southern WA, all of Tasmania and a tiny part of southern QLD.
