We spent a long weekend in Berry recently for my cousin’s wedding and whilst most of our time was spent on lovely wedding festivities we did have one dinner out in town. We booked in to Queen Street Eatery for dinner on our first night and I’m so glad we did. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and the place itself was gorgeous!
Recipe: Jackfruit Tacos
I’ve been in a bit of a jackfruit cooking phase lately, so decided jackfruit tacos needed to be part of the mix. I love tacos, and I’m loving jackfruit, so it’s safe to say I definitely loved these jackfruit tacos! Plus, they are super simple to whip up too.
Recipe: Carrot Ginger Ricotta Fritters
I’ve been on a bit of a fritter roll lately! These carrot ginger ricotta fritters are my new go-to and for good reason. They’re super tasty, super easy and super quick to make. Plus, you can whip the batter up in advance too! What more could you ask for?!
Recipe: Jackfruit Vegetable Curry
I had been wanting to cook with jackfruit more, and this jackfruit vegetable curry was an excellent place to start. Seriously packed with flavour, and it’s much easier than the list of ingredients might suggest. Perfect for vegans and meat eaters alike!
Port Douglas Eating: Seabean Tapas Bar
One of the best dinners we had while in Port Douglas was at Seabean Tapas Bar. Paella and tapas, what more could we have asked for! The food was delicious, the staff were helpful and there were plenty of vegetarian options as well!
