I did a review of the Carringbush Hotel when it first re-opened a few years ago, but I decided it was time for an update! I have visited the Carringbush many, many times over the years and even got takeaway from there whenever I could during Melbourne’s long lockdowns. So, it’s safe to say I’m a fan! Here are some of my favourite food options!
Recipe: Broccoli Lemon Gnocchi Tray Bake
I was after a quick dinner option that still had some vegetable content and this broccoli lemon gnocchi tray bake was the answer. It’s seriously quick to cook, making it perfect for a mid-week meal. Plus, most importantly it’s super tasty as well!
Review: Many Hands Winery, Coldstream II
While my sister was back visiting from the US over January we headed out to the Yarra Valley to lunch. After a successful first visit for me (and a few subsequent visits by our folks!) Many Hands Winery was our venue of choice. It was a hot and humid day in Melbourne, so we were very happy to spending it having a delightful lunch!
Lockdown Eating: Bia Hoi
And just like that its time for another edition of my lockdown eating series! After seeing lots of people raving about the at-home option from Bia Hoi I knew I had to try it for myself. It’s safe to say I was absolutely not disappointed either! I ordered the vegetarian-for-two menu – so let’s see what was inside!
Review: Gabriel, Fitzroy II
Given the lack of opportunity to sit down and eat in restaurants and cafes over the last 18 months it’s probably no surprise I haven’t shared as many reviews as usual! While I wait for the opportunity to do it again (hopefully soon!) I thought I would rectify that with another review of Gabriel on Gertrude Street in Fitzroy!
