Recipe: Stewed Apples

Today I wanted to share a deliciously simple recipe for stewed apples, that can then be used in a huge variety of ways – or, just eaten straight from the bowl! I don’t use much sugar in the recipe so it’s best to use sweeter varieties of apples, but if you can only get your hands on the more tart varieties of apples then maybe up the sugar or honey a little – depends how sweet you like them really!

Meat Free Mondays: A How To Guide

Meat Free Mondays is a campaign that is gaining momentum across the world – promoting everyone to go one day a week without eating meat to help benefit both their own health and that of the planet. Recipe: Quinoa Stuffed Capsicums

Every time I see a recipe for a stuffed food – be it capsicum, zucchini or tomato I always think I should give it a try but for some reason it just never happened. This week however, it was one of the boys birthdays so I decided to make my own version of a magnum for them instead – and giant sized at that! It turned out better than expected so I thought I’d share it with you!

Recipe: Chunky Choc-Chip Cookies

I’m currently on holidays so this post has been scheduled. I promise to respond to comments when I’m back! If you’d like to see what I’m up to how about liking the facebook page? Or following me on instagram? Be back soon!

As much as I do love fancy, intricate foods sometimes all you need is a simple cookie. These chunky choc-chip cookies are so easy to whip up, take only 15 minutes in the oven and are a hit with everyone I have ever made them for. They go perfectly with a cup of tea, so are ideal if people come round unexpectedly as you can have them ready to eat in no time. They may not be the prettiest cookies you’ll ever see, but I’m okay with that if you are!
