Recipe: Summer Israeli Couscous Salad

Since getting my little BBQ for Christmas I have been wanting to use it for as many meals as humanely possible and this salad was a fantastic way to make that happen. Grilling vegetables brings out such delicious flavours and summer veggies work particularly well for this so a grilled summer israeli couscous salad seemed like the obvious choice!

Recipe: Corn & Haloumi Fritters

I recently spotted some delicious looking fritters on Not Quite Nigella and realised I hadn’t made any in a long time, and I love me some fritters, so this had to be rectified fast. I feel like fritters are one of the only foods that works equally as well for every meal of the day – add a poached egg and you’ve got breakfast, or some chutney and a salad and lunch or dinner is sorted.

Recipe: Black Bean & Quinoa Burgers

I’m a huge fan of black beans but they can be tricky to find in can form in Melbourne, so when my local grocer has them I stock up and then take great delight in cooking with them. One of the best parts of these burgers is they freeze well so I can whip up a batch and then keep my black bean obsession going even when I can’t find them in stock! Plus, they are delicious and healthy and taste just as good served with a side salad or in a traditional burger.
