A lot of the advice around reducing our use of plastic packaging seems to centre around shopping at bulk stores, but not everyone has easy access to them. Don’t let that put you off though, there are still definitely ways you can make a positive change. So, today I thought I would share some tips for reducing waste without bulk stores! Plastic Free July is upon us again! I’ll be on holidays all of July (lucky me!) so I’m focusing on reducing my waste while travelling but I thought I’d share some tips for next steps to reduce plastic this year too! In the past I have talked about the environmental problems caused by plastic bags, takeaway coffee cups and wet wipes, so today I thought I would talk all about the problem with straws as well! Given their small size they may seem innocuous but unfortunately that’s far from the case, but thankfully there are easy ways we can all be part of the solution as well!
