The next stop on my European adventures was Hungary where I did some Budapest exploring by foot on a free walking tour and by boat as the sun set. It was a city I didn’t know much about, but one that I quite quickly fell in love with – beautiful architecture, friendly people and oh so much history.

During our week in Port Douglas we generally ate breakfast at home but on our last morning we checked out Betty’s Bohemian Beach Cafe and I’m so glad we did. The name might be a mouthful but the food was delicious!
Port Douglas Eating: Thala Beach
One of the best meals we had during my recent week in Port Douglas was at Thala Beach, a nature resort with the most incredible views and absolutely delicious food. We were very lucky to get a chance to eat there as it was closed to people not staying at the resort until our very last day, but I’m so glad we persisted and got ourselves a table!

I was lucky enough to spend a week in Port Douglas, Far North Queensland recently with my family and had the most wonderful, relaxing time. Whilst the week was mainly about rejuvenation and family time we did do some fun activities too, so today I thought I would share some of the highlights with you all!
