Eco Gifts Under $25

Christmas is nearly upon us and that often means buying small gifts for colleagues, teachers and friends, so I thought I would help this year with a guide to eco gifts under 25 bucks. These gifts are suitable for pretty much anyone and are not only eco friendly but useful (or edible!) too – way better than knick-knacks and the like in my books!

Last year I shared eco gift guides for the foodie in your life, as well as for around the home & garden, experiences and accessories for both men & women so there’s plenty of other inspiration if you need it as well! But now, onto the eco gifts under $25!

Eco Gifts Under $25 | I Spy Plum Pie

1. Terracotta Trivet – $19.95

This beautiful trivet is from Oxfam and at 25cm diameter is the perfect size to adorn anyone’s table this Christmas. Plus, by supporting Oxfam you’re helping them with all the wonderful work they do around the world – can’t beat that!

2. Set of 5 Hot Sauces – $21.95

For the hot sauce lover in your life you can’t go past this set of 5, 160ml sauces all made using Australian native ingredients like lemon myrtle and wild lime. Perfect for the upcoming BBQ season and beyond!

3. Wooden Salad Servers – $14.95

These beautiful salad servers are made in the Philippines from acacia, a sustainably sourced wood, and even squeeze in under $15 making them perfect for an office kris kringle gift! Plus, by purchasing them you would be supporting small artisans and entrepreneurs, so everyone wins this Christmas!

4. Metal Bells – $19.95

Every year I add to my Christmas decorations with a new addition from the Oxfam collection and I would be pretty happy if these beautiful bells were on my tree this year! If you believe my mum you can never have too many decorations on your tree, and these ethically made options are much nicer than the mass-produced plastic alternatives which make them the perfect gift too!

5. Ceramic Bowl – $19.95

This beautiful marble blue ceramic bowl is the perfect size for snacks and nuts, making it the perfect gift for someone that loves entertaining. Plus it is handmade in Vietnam making it one of a kind!

6. Reusable Coffee Cup – $22.95

For the coffee lover in your life how about a reusable cup this Christmas? Not only do they result in a whole lot less waste being produced but I find them pretty excellent to drink out of as well! Plus they come in a range of sizes, colours and styles so you’re sure to find something that suits!

7. Reusable Produce Bags – $19.95

This set of 8 reusable bags are perfect to take to the farmers market, fruit & vegetable shop or even the local supermarket to fill with fruits, veggies, nuts and more. I use mine every week and have recently given some to my mum as well and she’s loving them too. They might not be the prettiest gift but they’ll definitely get used!

8. Marmalade Gift Set – $21.95

This delicious set of marmalades also comes with a handwoven basket and a hand carved wooden spoon which makes it pretty excellent value for money, as well as being that little bit special. The fruits and vegetables in the marmalades come from small scale farmers and the company that makes them provides employment to local women and disabled adults. Plus, the flavours sound amazing!

9. Beard Soap – $14

I don’t know about the blokes in your life, but there’s definitely plenty of beards on the men I know so why not give them something a little special to keep their beard in tip-top shape? This one is made with Australian native ingredients and is free from palm oil, synthetic fragrances and colours.

10. Reusable Tote Bag – $16.95

This gorgeous tote bag rolls up nice and small so you can pop it in your handbag at all times, and then can carry up to 20kg of stuff – impressive! It’s also water resistant, washable and food safe making it perfect for all uses. I have at least one on me at all times, so I’m sure whoever the lucky recipient is would love one too!

I hope this guide to eco gifts under 25 dollars has given you some useful ideas!

Great post! I was actually on the hunt for ethical/enviro friendly gifts! I just went to the Oxfam store website, and bought the most gorgeous cheese board in the shape of a mouse for my cheese loving sister in law!

I need to get some reusable bags, I always forget to take them to the shop but I am going to try and change that. Great list of gifts.
