I treated myself by ordering the September Change Box and I’m so glad I did – I think it was even better than the August one! The Change Box is a subscription box service focused on supporting local, ethical beauty, food and lifestyle brands, and they donate 10% of profits as well. So good! Come see what was inside the September Change Box.
Essence of Humanity Softening Cream Cleanser
The Essence of Humanity is a New Zealand skincare brand that is set up as a 100% social enterprise and donates 100% to profits to charity. The products are completely natural and I’m loving the cream cleanser so far. It smells delicious, leaves my skin feeling clean, soft and hydrated. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more of their skincare range.
Spice Trading Company Spice Mix
This Chilli Guacamole Gourmet Dip Spice Mix is full of just spices, with no added preservatives or sugar which is great. They suggest you use it to make a Mexican style dip, but so far I have been sprinkling it on eggs, roast veggies and the like. It’s delicious! I’ve still got plenty left so I will try out the dip suggestion soon and report back!
Rustic Peppermint Deodorant Paste
I’ve been looking to explore completely natural deodorants so this showing up in the September Change Box couldn’t have been timed better! It’s a good size for me to try out and see how it goes, as from what I’ve been reading everyone reacts differently to natural deodorant mixes. This one smells really nice and is packed with shea butter and coconut oil to soften the skin, so I’ll keep you posted on how I go with it.
Purabon Peanut Butter Protein Ball
This completely vegan protein ball is made out of dates, peanuts, rice protein, coconut and sea salt. Whilst peanuts aren’t normally my favourite nut this was still delicious and made for an excellent snack. So handy to have in my bag for when hunger struck and I was very happy camper once i unwrapped it!
Wrappa Vegan Reusable Food Wrap
I love my reusable food wraps, and this is the first beeswax-free version I have tried. I use at least 2 wraps a day, so having another one in my drawer is always welcome. So far this vegan version is working just as well as my previous beeswax ones which is great to see. If you’re not already on the reusable wrap bandwagon I recommend you get your hands on some!
The Daily Bar Superfood Snack Bar
This bar is vegan, raw, paleo, low sugar, high fibre, organic and full of healthy fats. Somehow they are also delicious! I really liked that the packaging is made up of biodegradable plant fibre and recycled cardboard, making it friendly for the planet as well. I got the salted caramel flavour in my box which was SO tasty – packed with seeds, cashews, buckwheat, mulberries and more. The other flavours I spotted on the website sound amazing too, so I’ll be checking them out for sure.
At One Skincare Vitality Beauty Balm
The box included this beauty balm from vegan, cruelty free and organic skincare brand At One. It’s a rich, hydrating balm that I have been loving using on my face and anywhere else that needs some TLC. It’s a really handy size as well – it’s definitely coming with me to New Zealand this week to replenish my skin after 4 hours on a plane!
