It’s been quite some time since I’ve shared a restaurant review here on I Spy Plum Pie, but I’m rectifying that today! While my sister, Pip, stayed with me we decided to hit up a local cafe for brunch and settled on Archie’s All Day, up on Gertrude Street in Fitzroy. I’d been up for a drink not long after it opened but was yet to sample the menu, so I was keen try it out. It’s always busy on the weekends, so my expectations were set pretty high!
Review: Smith & Daughters III
I don’t usually review places multiple times, but after a delicious birthday dinner at Smith & Daughters I thought it was only fair that I shared the love around! Plus, it was the first time I had been to Smith & Daughters for a full dinner so there’s lots of new food to discuss! (Also, you can find Part I & Part II by following the links if you like!)
Pubs for Vegetarians: Rainbow Hotel, Fitzroy
On a sunny Saturday afternoon B and I headed to the Rainbow Hotel to catch up with some friends of mine and decided we might as well make the most of it and check out the food offerings as well! So here we are, the next stop on my Pubs for Vegetarians tour!
Review: Mighty Boy, Fitzroy
My love for Vietnamese and Thai food is still going strong and so I had been wanting to check out Mighty Boy eatery on Gertrude Street since it opened a little while back. B and I finally headed up one rather warm Saturday to check out their menu for lunch.
Review: Stagger Lee’s Fitzroy
Stagger Lee’s is the newest cafe offering from the folks behind Proud Mary in Collingwood, and despite being on nearby Brunswick Street was a whole lot easier to get a table at! B and I went along to check it out for brunch one sunny Saturday, and we were pretty impressed with the offerings!
