Somehow it is the end of May already! The gradual easing of restrictions this month sure did wonders for me – being able to see another human inside my house was such a nice change. I have of course been spending the vast majority of my time at home, and my May Favourite Finds are very reflective of that. Hopefully there are some goodies here that might make your time at home a bit better too!
Global Vegan Cookbook
It had been a while since I had added a cookbook to my collection, and given all the home cooking I am doing I thought it was a good time to treat myself. I wanted something fully vegan and so went with the Global Vegan by Ellie Bullen (aka Elsa’s Wholesome Life). I love that it covers all meals of the day, plus some staples, and all kinds of cuisines. So far I have made a couple of things and have enjoyed them all. I’m looking forward to working my way through more!
Paris Puzzle
I did a big puzzle swap with friends right before isolation so had a big stack to work through. However as I started to run out I decided to treat myself to a new one (from Happy Valley) and went with this gorgeous puzzle of Paris. It is an excellent quality puzzle and that picture was just seriously pretty. In fact, it was so nice it took me a while to pack it up when I was finished! An excellent way to pass some time in isolation!
Hunter Candle
When I ordered the puzzle from Happy Valley I also added this Hunter Candle to cart and I’m so glad I did. I have been burning candles regularly while at home and needed to add a new one to my collection. This scent is perfect for cold weather and I’m seriously loving it. I will definitely be picking up more candles from Hunter soon!
Tropeaka Protein Powder
Last but not least for my May Favourite Finds are these protein powders from Tropeaka! I actually bought my first bags (the vanilla and boost) a few months ago, and had enjoyed them so much I added the others to my collection this month. I’m so glad I did! I love the flavour of these, but most importantly I don’t find them at all grainy. I’ve been using them in all kinds of breakfasts and snack foods which is helping me power through my work days – which this month were very, very long. I have a feeling I will be building up quite the collection over time!
