Recipe: Sweet Potato & Carrot Fritters

September Favourite Finds 2016

My September Favourite Finds are very liquid heavy this time around – from the healthy to the not so healthy kind! I had a pretty excellent month all round, including a glorious week spent in sunny Port Douglas (more on that in a separate post!) and lots of other fun times along the way. Berlin Exploring: Jewish Museum, Topography of Terror & New Synagogue

The next instalment of my Berlin Exploring series takes us to a few of the more sombre sites Berlin has to offer, but also some of the most interesting – the Jewish Museum, Topography of Terror and the New Synagogue. The museums in particular are incredibly important places to learn more about German history to gain an understanding of how things ended up like they did in World War II and also how the German society has rebuilt itself since.

Recipe: Beetroot & Chickpea Burgers

I found myself with some beetroot that needed using the other weekend and decided that burgers should go on the menu and these beetroot & chickpea burgers were the result! They’re not only incredibly vibrant in colour but full of flavour as well, making them an absolute winner in my books!
