It’s time for my April favourite finds! This month was a busy one as I prepare to go overseas for 6 weeks partway through next month. I’ve been beavering away preparing posts so I can leave my laptop behind, whilst simultaneously spending as much time as possible with friends – I’m a little exhausted now! Anyway, here’s what I’ve been enjoying this month, I’d love to hear your suggestions too!
7 Tips to Begin Decluttering Your Home
I don’t know about you, but whenever I declutter I instantly feel more on top of things and my life feels simpler. Knowing where to begin decluttering your home can feel overwhelming though, so today I thought I would share a few tips to get you started! I’d love to hear what works for you as well!
Recipe: Vegetarian Chilli
Vegetarian chilli is one of my favourite recipes for when the weather starts to get colder as it is so hearty and warming. It’s also an excellent vehicle for not only using up veggies lying around in the fridge, but for cramming some extra veggies in to help meet my daily intake. Plus, vegetarian chilli is not only easy to make but freezes amazingly well too. Seriously, if you’re not already eating it you should be!
Canberra Eating: Grazing
Our Canberra weekend not only coincided with Easter, but was also right before both mine & my mum’s birthdays so we decided to have an extra special meal for Easter Sunday, and so headed out of Canberra to the small town of Gundaroo to eat at Grazing.
Places to Visit: Lijiang, China
After sharing my adventures in Pompeii with you last month, I thought I would return with another beautiful travel location in this Places to Visit: Lijiang post! I visited Lijiang in February 2009 on one of my trips to China while my parents were living there, and it has since stood out as one of my favourite travel destinations. It is an amazing mix of beautiful scenery, history and culture and is most definitely worth a visit!
