Recipe: Raisin, Walnut & Oat Cookies

I seem to be using oats in a lot of my baking of late, I don’t know whether it’s because oats remind me of winter food but it shall be interesting to see how long it lasts! There’s something about oats in cookies that makes them feel healthier and more filling, and with the addition of fruit and nuts you could almost eat these for breakfast!

Recipe: Banana Macadamia Loaf

I think it’s safe to say that I’m a pretty huge fan of banana bread as this marks my fourth variation I have shared here on the blog (you can find the others here, here & here!). This version makes use of delicious, crunchy macadamias and was topped with a sweet, brown sugar glaze so it’s slightly more decadent, whilst still going perfectly with a good ol’ cuppa!

Recipe: Fruit & Oat Slice

I’m one of those people that eats breakfast almost the second I get up, I can’t really function until I have some food in my stomach. This probably stems from the fact I eat dinner pretty early (such a nanna!) so by 6.15 when my alarm sounds I’m definitely ready for a meal!

Recipe: Almond Butter Cookies

I’d seen a few recipes for almond butter cookies floating around the internet and was rather intrigued about these flourless concoctions. I decided to have a play with the jar of almond butter sitting in my pantry and see what combo worked out best, and these were the definite winners.
