During our week in Port Douglas we generally ate breakfast at home but on our last morning we checked out Betty’s Bohemian Beach Cafe and I’m so glad we did. The name might be a mouthful but the food was delicious!
The Foodie Files – Dancing Through Sunday
For this month’s Foodie Files chat I’m delighted to bring you Bec, from Dancing Through Sunday fame. A fellow inner-city Melbournite Bec has an intense love for brunch which I definitely understand & her instagram feed is always full of amazing food snaps both from at home and out and about. This lady’s food photography is top notch, I wish I had her skills, that’s for sure!
Canberra Eating: Doubleshot
On my Easter trip to Canberra we headed to Doubleshot in Deakin for breakfast early on Easter Monday, and thankfully we called ahead to book a table as it was absolutely bustling when we arrived. Despite it being a rather crisp morning it was not just the inside tables that were full, but the outside was popular with cyclists, families and dog walkers alike!
Canberra Eating: Penny University Cafe
One of the first meals we had during our weekend in Canberra was at Penny University Cafe & Coffee Roasters in Kingston. The cafe was super busy when we arrived, with people not only at the tables inside and out, but lining up for takeaway coffee and food as well! Luckily we were able to snag a table straight away, and the staff were excellent despite the hubbub around them.
Review: Mayday Coffee, Richmond
One recent sunny Sunday I met up with the lovely Tahlia for brunch at Mayday Coffee on Bridge Road, Richmond. It’s the newest cafe from the folks behind Axil Coffee, so I was looking forward to trying not only their coffee but the food too!
