I last did one of these taking stock posts at the end of last year, so as the first quarter of 2016 comes to a close I thought it was an excellent time to do it again! For those of you that haven’t seen these taking stock posts before, they were started by Pip from Meet Me At Mikes & they are a great way to stop and reflect. Let me know if you do one too, I’d love to come have a read!
Making : all kinds of messes in my kitchen, but all in the name of delicious food!
Cooking : the last of the summer salads, like this peach & haloumi one!
Drinking : coffee made in my aeropress, the most useful Christmas present I’ve received in a long time!
Reading: Zero Waste Home by Bea Johnson, it’s an excellent read
Wanting: more time in my weeks, there’s so much I want to be doing
Looking: at all the photos I took in Canberra over the weekend
Deciding: on where to eat for my birthday dinner tomorrow
Enjoying: researching delicious vegetarian friendly places to eat for my upcoming travels
Waiting: for the washing machine to finish so I can put the next load on – long weekend’s away always result in so much washing!
Liking: the crisp Autumn air in the mornings at the moment
Wondering: just how many podcasts are too many to be subscribed to at once!
Loving: sleeping in my own bed again
Considering: what kinds of posts to write here at ISPP next
Buying: travel related goodies
Watching: the West Wing for the umpteenth time
Hoping: for some sunshine for my birthday
Marvelling: at how quickly the year is racing by
Needing: to eat some healthy meals after a deliciously filling weekend away
Smelling: fresh mint that I picked from the balcony
Wearing: light layers, this is Melbourne after all!
Following: too many podcasts!
Thinking: about what to get my mum for her upcoming birthday
Admiring: friends that are kicking huge goals
Sorting: washing, how boring!
Getting: excited for the next few months
Opening: a gazillion emails, the downside of taking time off work
Giggling: while listening to some of my favourite podcasts
Feeling: grateful for having such a wonderful family, we had such a lovely weekend together
Snacking: on carrot sticks, my go to easy snack
Helping: people make some changes, at least I hope so!
Hearing: the washing machine beep, time for the next load!
