It’s safe to say it was a bit of a rollercoaster month here in Melbourne! A return to some normality, a sharp lockdown, busy month at work – it really had it all. Amongst everything I found some highlights, so here are my February favourite finds. I’d love to hear about yours too!
Frank Body Moisturiser
I’ve shared my love of Frank Body products previously, and so I had high expectations when I picked up these two moisturising products. They certainly lived up to it! I have mostly been using them in combination – adding a couple of drops of the oil to the cream. Not only do they smell delicious, but they sink in quickly and have left my skin feeling so hydrated. They have quickly become part of my regular routine and I can see myself needing to restock them pretty soon!
It had probably been 7 years since I bought myself new crockery, and even then it was a very plain, basic white set. So, I decided it was time to add some new goodies into the mix, and picked up this simple but lovely Ecology set. I love that it’s neutral but still a little bit interesting (it’s hard to pick up the speckle in these photos!) and I’m very happy with my choice. I know it doesn’t actually change how the food tastes, but it feels like it does!
In the pre-COVID world I used to go to a lot of live comedy, but it had obviously been a while between drinks. My return to live comedy was at a recording of the Josh Earl podcast Don’t You Know Who I Am, which has been a favourite of mine for a long time. Even having to wear masks throughout didn’t dampen things – I had not laughed that hard in a long time! It was so nice to be back, and a good reminder to start booking tickets to more things!
Reusable Kitchen Items
The last of my February favourite finds are a collection of reusable items I added to my kitchen this month. I have been doing even more meal-prep than usual lately and a good mix of storage solutions is so helpful. This set of pouches very quickly went into high rotation – I love the mix of sizes, they seal really well and they are easy to both fill and clean. So handy!
I added some more glass containers to my rotation (I love that these ones are freezer and dishwasher safe!) and these super cute little stainless steel containers. They have been so handy for dressings and single serves of dips – thankfully the lids are leak-proof! Thankfully I have a dedicated (and deep!) drawer for containers to store everything in!
