July Favourite Finds 2020

It’s July Favourite Finds time, but with Melbourne going back in to lockdown this month it definitely hasn’t been my favourite month. I focused on things that make me happy (lots of reading and puzzles) and thankfully earlier in the month (pre-lockdown!) got to spend some time with some of my favourite people. I also picked up some new goodies! Here’s some of my July favourite finds, I’d love to hear yours too!

Hanami Nail polish

I needed to stock up on a new red nail polish (one of my go-to colours!) so decided to give Hanami a try. The fact that they are an eco-friendly nail polish brand had peaked my interest, as well as that they are local here in Melbourne. I picked up the red I was after, plus a box of four smaller bottles which was a great way to try out more colours. I’m super happy with the quality (although I’m not great at using the tiny brush in the small bottles!) and will definitely be picking up more colours soon.

The other beauty-type product in my July favourite finds is some more goodies from The Base Collective. I’ve used their magnesium oil for a while now and really like it – it’s particularly excellent for sore muscles. I decided to add some more products to my collection and I’m so glad I did. The Beauty Sleep Balm has been my most used so far –  it both smells and feels so nice.Top notch products!

Wearing jewellery hasn’t been high on my list while working from home, except for statement earrings when I need a bit of a boost for video calls. I decided to pick up some new ones and also support an Aboriginal business, so got these Gungurra delights. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear, but are also super pretty! There’s a very good chance more of these will end up in my collection!

Stomping Ground Beer

Ok so Stomping Ground beer itself doesn’t qualify as a July favourite find as I’ve been a fan for a number of years now. However, a bunch of their beers are new, and they’re fast become favourites! I ordered a mixed box direct from the brewery which included their new dark sour (Bramble On) and the lager they have made as a fundraiser for the hospitality industry (Tip Jar). Both are right up my alley and I will be ordering from them again soon! If I can’t go to the pub then I might as well order directly from the pub to my house!
